Answer: Nope. Neither did the S48 members that we met there. Heck Deneth gave his signing ticket to Happo, just because he already got to sign the day before. So maybe it's just the US Los Angeles S48 members that are unruly .

Fixed!

guys please do not cut in line, i would feel much better if the nihongogo members who will be going to the concert can help out organize the lines even just for those real fans of AKB48

Yeah I would appreciate if I didn't hear massive douchey stories about line cutting. I'm not sure if you guys would be able to control the large crowds if it's a "thing" with Singaporeans, but I don't want to hear any stories about organized line cutting from you guys and girls here. Seriously I don't.

I don't want to here excuses, "Oh but I flew all the way in from Zimbabwe!" because I don't care. When you cut you're have bound to cut at least ONE person who came from JUST as far.

I gotta admit too... I was completely indifferent about Stage48 prior to this. In France and in New York everyone I heard about or met was cool and acted respectable (Except that one faggot who stole from the Kinokuniya stand in Webster Hall.) Up until LA I had felt we were just different sides of the same coin. Equal but Different.

It was after LA's massive forum assholery combined with the "Huh? Why should we ban hahaxwil? LOL.. let him go to LA and let's not even make him actively seek out members to give them their merch!" attitude that spun my idea of how they were a complete 180. I mean seriously.. if the Mods knew he was in LA, why the hell didn't they pressure him to give out peoples 7 month old merchandise? JESUS FUCK. Does he suck dicks THAT GOOD?

They completely jumped the shark at that point, and just gave me the impression they were the Hello Online of AKB forums.

Extending what Max said, the S48 people from Paris were all extremely cool people and should not be bunched together with any line-cutting faggots.

I always hear these sort of crappy line cutting and douchbaggery from the LA expo. Must just be the type of people that live that side of the US.

I heard a lot of crap even happened when MM went there.

Don't trash the entire west coast just cause of LA. I sure wouldn't do that shit, and I doubt most people here would either.

not so much the crappiness of LA as it is the case of Anime Expo having more than double the attendees of NYAF.
more people have access = more chances of you running into shitty people.

as long as these things are volunteer run, it'll always be sloppy as shit.

Yeah don't group all of the West Coast together. Afterall, AX IS the largest anime expo in the United States and the people who attend aren't only us west coast folk :fuckyou: . Volunteers never get the full details when working and when the crowd of people get larger, of course there's going to be more chaos.

I will try to prevent the queue cutting if I am the first few in the line and if it is a free standing concert .
But Usually for AFA concert (assuming they are coming for AFA),you will have a seat number on your ticket .
So there is no point to cut queue or going early if they are coming for AFA ( based on the past 2 year).

-LOTS of cutting. I don't mind someone saving a spot or two for a friend, but some people let entire groups cut with them. Also, some AKB48 fans who think they are above everyone cut their entire group up to the front.

Jesus Christ! If your going to cut... don't make it fucking obvious! Posted Image

That's what I thought. NY and Paris 4-ever.

Let's see get ready to see how Singapore and Italy fans are. Hopefully they go back to being human.

True, but what about the queue to get the tickets? I've never been to an AFA concert so correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe they feature multiple artistes per concert, which means a lot of fans to vie for tickets with. Or are the concerts for each artiste scheduled at different timeslots?

Hi, gonna stick out of my lurker status and post here for the first time in a year. Dunno if anyone's ever gonna read this, but yea. I went to the AKB concert at Anime Expo in July and I am a member on S48 and I live in LA. I'm not here stand up and argue for a bunch of pplz that cut just to get their SECOND autograph either. Just giving a shout-out that there's at least 1 person living in LA that decided not to cut lines and hope for the best to get an autograph. To be honest, I was very sad that I didn't get to get an autograph since I probably won't be able to see them ever again. Even so, after reading through this, it helped me find out why I ended up so far back in the line that I couldn't get an autograph. I wish you guys good luck camping in Singapore and have fun. :depressed:
